The primary section offers a broad and balanced curriculum based on the National Curriculum.
The following subjects are taught at the Primary level:
- English Language
- Fine Art
- Physical and Wellness Education
- Home Economics
- Vocational Aptitude
- Verbal Aptitude
Nigerian languages which are Yoruba and Igbo.
Our subjects are taught through a cross-curricular approach and are ‘hands-on’ with a fusion of foreign curricula which allows children not only to be taught appropriate skills and knowledge, but to be able to apply these skills and knowledge to real life situations.
The pupils are put through structured and unstructured periodic tests and off course, terminal Examinations.
There is another kind of special test known as TEST OF RESIDUAL KNOWLEDGE (TRK).The primary purpose, in addition to gaining insights into prior or existing initiatives, is to enable and assist in the identification of future change.
Carol School desires to have a ‘Robust’ child, thus, we help to draw out the full potential in every child. We have an array of dynamic clubs and societies for the children to choose from.
